History:
Cooper Structural Engineers, Inc. (CSE) was established by David C. Cooper, P.E., S.E. to provide structural engineering services to architects, engineers, contractors, fabricators, manufacturers and real estate professionals in the southeastern United States.
Qualifications:
Mr. Cooper holds professional engineering licensure in Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana and Mississippi. and structural engineering licensure in Illinois. Mr. Cooper holds a Bachelor of Civil Engineering degree from Auburn University and has 25 years of experience in structural engineering and the construction industry.
Professional memberships include the Structural Engineers Association of Alabama (SEAoAL), American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), American Concrete Institute (ACI), American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC), Post Tensioning Institute (PTI), Precast/Prestressed Concrete Institute (PCI) and the Light Gage Steel Engineers Association (LGSEA).
David is a Past President of the Montgomery, Alabama Branch of ASCE, a charter member of the Structural Engineering Institute (SEI) of ASCE and a board member and President of the Structural Engineers Association of Alabama.
